Firm principal Edward McGlone is an experienced criminal trial lawyer. Mr. McGlone focuses his practice primarily in the areas of criminal defense, including DUI and DWI, traffic violations, drug offenses, violent crimes, sex crimes, and juvenile crimes. He also devotes a portion of his practice to personal injury matters.
Mr. McGlone has over twenty years of experience, including a decade spent prosecuting criminal cases. From 1991-1995, he was Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Greene County, Indiana, and from 1996-2000 he was a Felony Trial Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Vigo County, Indiana. His prior experience as a prosecutor provides unique insight into the prosecution's strategies and tactics; Mr. McGlone now uses this insight to the advantage of his clients in defending the allegations against them.
Mr. McGlone received his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University cum laude and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law. He was admitted to practice in the State of Indiana in 1989. Although Mr. McGlone practices criminal defense exclusively in state court, he has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Mr. McGlone is a member of the Terre Haute Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
